AmerihealthCaritas EXITING Iowa
One of Iowa's three MCOs has opted out of the system effective December 1 2017. Amerihealth Caritas will no longer serve Iowa Medicaid members. All Caritas members will automatically be assigned to United. If an individual wants to select the other remaining MCO (Amerigroup) the individual will need to complete paperwork with assistance from their case worker and service provider
