Iowa Focus is one of the largest providers of community based services in Southern Iowa. We have years of experience providing community supports to persons with disabilities. We strive to meet your needs, in your home, according to your schedule.

OUR STAFF

The staff and management of Iowa Focus have years of experience providing community supports to people with disabilities. We believe in including individuals and their families in the hiring process. All applicants are screened before hiring, and receive extensive and ongoing training in many subjects, including;

  • Medication Management
  • Supporting Persons With Disabilities

IN OUR COMMUNITY

Staying true to our mission of specializing exclusively in community services, we believe in "getting out, having fun and making friends".

  • We participate in community based groups and organizations such as Special Olympics, Life Group and Buddy Baseball
  • We sponsors events and activities throughout the year for the people we support, including picnics, parties, sporting groups, and trips to Adventureland.
  • We enable people to develop their own lifestyles based on individual interests, integrated activities, and lifelong friendships.

  • Our Certification

    Iowa Focus is State and Medicaid Certified. Our Day Habilitation program has been "CARF" certified since 2002.

Strategic Plan

2018-2020 Goals:

  • 1. develop authorization monitoring system to ensure MCO support of members.
  • 2. attract and retain the highest quality Direct Support Providers.
  • 3. integrate residential daily support with daily care support to fit the preferred MCO model of service.
  • 4. attract and retain the highest quality Direct Support Providers with higher pay, better benefits, and a culture of support and success.

  • 2. Improve technical security of HIPAA data.
  • 3. Improve safety of service environment with training, redesign, and better safety materials.
